- 1 lb500 gLean Ground Canadian Pork
- 1/2 cup125 mlEACH chopped onion, green pepper
- 11clove garlic, minced
- 14 oz398 mlcan diced tomatoes, undrained
- 2/3 cup150 mlwater
- 3 Tbsp45 mlraisins
- 2 Tbsp25 mlchopped green olives
- 1 tsp5 mlEACH chili powder, cumin
- 1/4 tsp1 mlsalt
- dashdashcinnamon
- 1/2 cup125 mllong grain rice
Directions
In a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground pork, onion, green pepper and garlic until meat is no longer pink. Stir in remaining ingredients except rice. Bring to a boil. Stir in rice; cover and simmer about 20 minutes or until rice is tender, stirring occasionally.
Note: Always cook ground pork to well done.
