Thai-Style Grilled Pork

    • 1 lb
      500 g
      Canadian Pork Rib Country Style, boneless
    • 1/4 cup
      50 mL
      fish sauce
    • 1/4 cup
      50 mL
      sambal oelek (Oriental chili-garlic sauce)
    • 2 Tbsp
      25 mL
      brown sugar
    • 1 Tbsp
      15 mL
      sesame oil


Cut pork into serving size pieces. Place pork in a plastic bag, non-metal bowl or sealable container. Combine fish sauce, sambal oelek, brown sugar and sesame oil. Pour mixture over pork; seal or cover and refrigerate for 3 to 24 hours, turning meat occasionally. Preheat barbecue on high; reduce heat to medium. Drain pork, discarding marinade. Place pork on lightly oiled grill; close barbecue cover. Grill 6 to 8 minutes; turn and grill 6 to 8 minutes on the other side. Serve pork with rice, roasted red peppers and snow peas.
