      fennel seeds, crushed
    • 1 cup
      250 mL
      reduced sodium chicken or vegetable broth
    • 2 cups
      500 mL
      crushed tomatoes (or your favourite tomato sauce)
    • 1 tsp
      5 mL
      EACH dried thyme and pepper
    • 1 Tbsp
      15 mL
      balsamic vinegar

Directions

Add all ingredients to slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW for 8 to 10 hours or on HIGH for 4 to 5 hours.
