    • 1/2 cup

      orange juice
    • 2 Tbsp

      EACH red wine vinegar and canola oil
    • 1 Tbsp

      minced fresh ginger (or 1 tsp/5 mL ground)

      dried thyme
    • 1/3 cup
      75 mL
      plum sauce

Directions

Place pork in plastic bag or glass baking dish. Combine orange juice, vinegar, oil, ginger, garlic and thyme. Pour over meat, seal or cover and marinate at least 4 hours in the refrigerator. Place at room temperature 30 minutes before grilling.
Preheat barbecue on high; reduce heat to low. Drain pork, reserving marinade. Transfer marinade to a saucepan; boil one minute. Place meat on lightly oiled grill over low heat. Cook for 30 to 45 minutes, to an internal temperature of 160ºF (71ºC), brushing often with marinade and turning two or three times. Brush pork with plum sauce during last 10 minutes of cooking. Remove ribs from grill, cover with foil and let rest 10 minutes before carving. Serve with additional plum sauce, if desired.
