    • 1 lb
      500 g
      Canadian Pork Loin or Shoulder Blade Roast or Chops, well trimmed
    • 1/2 lb
      250 g
      fresh Canadian Pork Chorizo Sausage
    • 1/3 cup
      75 mL
      fresh lime juice
    • 1/4 cup
      50 mL
      soy sauce
    • 1 tsp
      5 mL
      dried oregano
    • 1/2
      1/2
      EACH red or orange and green pepper half
    • salsa

Directions

Cut pork into 1″/2.5 cm cubes. Place pork cubes in a sealable plastic bag or non-metal sealable container. Combine lime juice, soy sauce and oregano. Pour over pork and seal. Marinate in the refrigerator 2 hours or overnight. If using bamboo skewers, presoak in water 1 hour. Slice pork sausage and peppers into 1″/2.5 cm pieces. Thread pork cubes alternating with sausage and peppers onto 6 metal or wooden skewers. Preheat barbecue on high; reduce heat to medium. Place kabobs on lightly oiled grill; close barbecue cover and grill over medium heat 10 to 12 minutes, turning often. Serve with salsa.
